The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
